Join Cotiviti to help eliminate medical debt for families in need

Fifty-six percent of respondents to a survey published last month indicated they were concerned that health difficulties in their household could lead to debt or even bankruptcy, while 28% are already carrying medical debt themselves. Unfortunately, this news is unsurprising to the millions of Americans whose financial stability is destroyed by medical debt each year—a problem exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. That’s why Cotiviti is once again partnering with RIP Medical Debt to help give individuals and families the ability to seek the continued medical care they need while helping them back towards financial stability.

We invite you to join us in helping abolish medical debt, with Cotiviti matching all donations up to $20,000. You’ll be making a tremendous impact: on average, just $1 can eliminate about $100 in medical debt.

Make a donation

Your donations will support families in the three following regions, which RIP has specifically identified as having some of the highest medical debt ratios in the United States:

  • Clayton County, Georgia (including Atlanta)
  • Harris County, Texas (including Houston)
  • Salt Lake County, Utah (includes Salt Lake City)

For those of you who donate, we sincerely thank you for your generosity. To learn more about RIP Medical Debt and its mission, please visit our donation page.

About Cotiviti Cares

Beyond Cotiviti’s corporate purpose, social responsibility means doing what we can to build a team of doers who address issues of broad social concern on a local community level. Through our Cotiviti Cares social responsibility program, we support, promote, and fund community outreach efforts conducted by our employees around the globe, contributing to local charities and not-for-profits through financial assistance, in-kind contributions, and volunteer efforts. Cotiviti Cares focuses our numerous and diverse charitable efforts to serve a common purpose: to strengthen our communities by supporting education and health and human services where we live and work. This mission is broad enough to encompass the majority of the causes embraced by our colleagues and our clients.
