Video: How HEDIS recertification impacts health plans

Written by Jeff Robinson | Dec 11, 2019 4:55:02 PM

Achieving HEDIS® certification means a vendor’s software code stands up against the rigorous quality tests of the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). But continuously meeting NCQA’s standards can be challenging and often leads to measure recertification mid-season, which can impact a health plan's processes. Watch our new video as Branka Sustic, Cotiviti vice president of quality, explains the basics of the HEDIS certification and recertification processes—and Cotiviti's approach to minimizing recertifications.

At Cotiviti, we’ve had to recertify only three measures over the last three years, and we work closely with NCQA for swift resolution. Download our Quality Intelligence fact sheet to learn how our solution sets the standard for efficiency, ease of use, and customer satisfaction.
